We bought Mimi's Cloud in August of 2007. A lifelong dream was realized. Sharon first came to Pawleys when she was 12 years old in 1956 and a love affair began.

We made 18 moves in our first 22 years of marriage. Most of the moves were in the U.S. but we did have 2 international assignments. We loved the experience of living in different places. But anytime we were close to Pawleys we would take a vacation there.

In 1986 we built a house on a mini farm near Greenville, SC and have lived here ever since - a real change from moving every year or so. The farm has 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 llamas, 3 horses, and a miniature donkey who is quite a character.

We have three incredible grown children who married wonderful spouses, and we now have 5 extraordinary grandchildren. My favorite time is always when all 13 of us are together at Pawleys.

We have spent a lot of time remodeling and redecorating Mimi's Cloud and have had a wonderful time with the endeavor. We have fallen even more in love with it and Pawleys.
